Image Special Olympics HeaderThe adventure begins …

With great emotion I have selected the coach for the Special Olympics World Games in Athens on Saturday the 30th October can receive in Zofingen. The delegation is represented linguistically seen from all over Switzerland. It will be the representative to today’s largest delegation from Switzerland, because they included more than 100 participants, coaches and athletes, there is. The athletes will compete in 11 sports:

Soccer, basketball, swimming, athletics, cycling, golf, horse riding, table tennis, tennis, bowling, judo.

Aldo Doninelli was proud to imagine the beautiful race courses, which are largely the same as those for the Olympic Games in Athens 2008. For many participants it is their first participation in World Games. They understood that their engagement will be huge, but they also realize that they will experience with the athletes a unique human and sporting adventure.
