On Wednesday, June 15, the city of Larissa welcomed the Flame of Love

Athens and Greece have the distinct honor to host the Special Olympics World Games ATHENS 2011. The Flame of Hope for the Games was lit in the Holy Hill Pnyx where it will travel across Greece and abroad carrying the message of the Games, a message of love and respect to people with disabilities worldwide.

On Wednesday, June 15, the city of Larissa welcomed the Flame of Love Festival Penaeus, the biggest festival of the Environment and Culture. Check In will be held at 11.45 am in the A platform where the first tee of Special Education will hold the play “Water … refreshing water. This is an excellent performance by school children in texts Kakatsiou Theodora and Dimitra Andritsou while the scenes are edited by Helen and Dimitri Makropoulou Liagkas.

The Municipality of Larissa, who has previously host the Olympic Torch Relay Olympic Games in Athens, Beijing and Vancouver invites all students to give the city present at this celebration of sport, culture and humanism Wednesday, June 15 at 11.45 am at the Festival Penaeus.
