The Flame of Hope in Lamia and Stilida Sunday, June 12

Flame of Hope is preparing to welcome the Stilida Sunday, June 12 at 7.00 pm in view of the Special Olympics World Summer Games Athens 2011.

The event, held in the town’s main square Sunday 12.06.2011 at 19.00, will be presented by George Tsalikis Stylidiotis while carrying the flame from one end of runner 46 police volunteers from around the world would run along the entire Stylida municipality, stopping a half hours Backs and Pelasgians.

The Special Olympics World Games is the premier event in the long course of a global movement founded in 1968 by a great woman, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who devoted her life to achieve a global vision.
