Three Special athletes – Kasem Fandi, 26, Crountour Tager,12, and Makan Nisreen, 14 – came from distant Syria to chase success and recognition at the Athens Games and the equestrian sport. They had their first contact with the horses today. Kasem has been practicing this sport for four years, Crountour just for one and Makan for two. All of them attend special schools back in their country. Their manager, Mr. Beiram, expressed his admiration for the facilities and the volunteers who contribute their best in the Games. As the athletes say, their goal isn’t to stand out but to have fun and meet other athletes
